Another offensive lineman has signed with Florida State.

Jakobe Green is a 6-foot-3, 335-pound offensive lineman who played his final prep season for Gadsden County High School in Quincy, FL. 247Sports Composite has Chapman as the 858th best player in the nation (69th best interior OL, 91st best player in FL). He was previously committed to the Mississippi State Bulldogs before decommitting and flipping to FSU on June 24.

In addition to the Fightin’ Cowbells, FSU originally beat out the Boston College Eagles, Florida Gators, Memphis Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Ole Miss Rebels, UCF Knights, and West Virginia Mountaineers for his pledge.

Green played right guard in high school, which is likely where he’ll end up in Tallahassee. He also played on the interior defensive line and managed 24 tackles (nine for loss) and three sacks as a junior. Nicknamed “Big Show”, Green is indeed massive but will need to reshape his body to add more muscle. He has good strength and shows the ability to pull. He should be able to hit the rotation in a couple of seasons.
